We're excited to announce that our football opera project, in partnership with Grange Park Opera, Surrey and Sky Arts is well underway. Directed by Kwame Kwei-Armah from the Young Vic, with the book and libretto by Phil Porter, Gods of The Game is composed by Julian Philips and a team of composers comprising, Aran O'Grady, Abel M G E, Blasio Kavuma and Lucy Armstrong.
The show which will run at Grange Park's Theatre in the Woods, will also be shown on Sky Arts in the run up to the World Cup in October 2022, will feature contributions from football fans of good voice, who will be trained up to sing as part of the chorus.
